George Abbot students are celebrating a very good set of A Level and BTEC results. The outcomes of this summer’s exams see students continuing the tradition of academic strength for which the school is known.
12% of all A level grades achieved at George Abbot were A*. 31% of A Level grades are A or A*, with 55% of grades being A*, A or B. 9 students gained A* in 3 of their A Levels. BTEC results are also notable for their quality – 56% are Distinction* or Distinction and 76% are Merit or above.
Our Year 13 students demonstrated determination and focus in their sixth form studies. They recognised that success requires ambition and self-motivation alongside strong teaching and continuous study. We are very proud of them and their results and know that they will be leaving school more than ready for the next stage of their lives. We will miss them and wish them happiness and fulfilment as they begin their next chapter – it has been an absolute pleasure to work and learn with them.
